The Antique "Mile" stretches along 4th St., between Alameda and Guadalupe Trail, falling mostly within The Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, officially incorporated in 1958. The Village is located in the heart of the North Valley, just a few miles from downtown Albuquerque, the urban to our rural. Our shops are nestled amongst the cottonwoods and elms growing proud and tall between the scattered farms and homesteads of the village, bounded to the West by the Rio Grande River and to the East by the majestic Sandia Mountain range, giving us the cozy feel of small town living. Faces in the Village are friendly and familiar and life moves at a bit slower pace, as we enjoy a step away from the hectic urban life of the "big city." The Village is the destination for easy Sunday mornings - with a number of good local haunts for breakfast and brunch, a stroll along the Rio Grande, and some slow-paced shopping, where customers are not just customers, but friends. We are proud to be a part of this unique North Valley community and even those of us not "officially" in the Village claim it as our own.
Come take a visit to the Village with a leisurely drive down 4th Street and see why The Antique "Mile" is lucky to call Los Ranchos de Albuquerque home.
